Swiss Chalet’s Festive Special returns with new holiday drinks

The Canadian classic is back for a limited time, featuring roast chicken, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and a lineup of new spiked seasonal beverages
Swiss Chalet’s most beloved holiday tradition has returned.
The Canadian restaurant chain has officially launched its 2025 Festive Special, a seasonal favourite that marks the unofficial start of the holidays for countless families. The meal includes a quarter chicken served with stuffing, cranberry sauce, a dinner roll, the signature Chalet Sauce, and a Lindt chocolate truffle, a lineup that’s been delighting guests for generations.
“‘Tis the season for our iconic Festive Special,” the company announced. “Deck the halls, string the lights, celebrate with friends and family over a delicious meal, and let us do the cooking.”
The Festive Special is available now at Swiss Chalet locations across Canada until December 28, 2025, or while supplies last.
This year’s celebration also comes with a new twist, a lineup of Festive Beverages available for dine-in guests only. The menu features the Festive Rum & Eggnog, a creamy classic with a splash of spiced rum and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar; the Holiday Rum Punch, made with cranberry, ginger ale, apple juice, and lemonade mixed with spiced rum; and two cozy dessert-style drinks: the Spiked Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate and the Spiked Salted Caramel Coffee, both topped with whipped cream and drizzled in caramel.
The limited-edition drinks join the chain’s traditional holiday menu, which has become as much a Canadian winter staple as curling up by the fire or unwrapping gifts under the tree.
