The craft store’s warm and rustic Christmas lineup features gingerbread houses, cabin textures, and evergreen charm

As the holiday season kicks into full swing, Michaels is inviting Christmas lovers to step into something sweet.
The craft and décor retailer has revealed its Gingerbread Forest collection, one of six new themed lines as part of its annual “100 Days to Christmas” launch. The collection, available October 17, captures the heart of holiday nostalgia with décor inspired by gingerbread men, frosting-detailed houses, and evergreen trees, all wrapped in cozy, rustic charm.
Warm tones of cocoa, tan, brown, green, and white define the look, creating what Michaels describes as a “holiday retreat” inspired by pinecones, cabin textures, and timeless comfort. From tree ornaments and wreaths to home décor and baking accents, the Gingerbread Forest line pairs perfectly with seasonal candles, fairy lights, and kitchen displays that look, and feel, like something out of a storybook.
“Each of our six new collections is rooted in trend-forward design, from fashion and interiors to nostalgic pop culture moments,” said Stacey Shively, Chief Merchandising Officer at Michaels, in a release announcing the company’s most expansive holiday assortment yet.
“We’re meeting customers’ excitement with more variety and inspiration than ever before.”
The new lineup joins other themed series like Peppermint Lane, Frosted Fairytale, and Holiday Tidings, each offering a distinct take on Christmas style. Michaels says the 2025 collection builds on growing trends in early decorating and holiday self-expression, giving shoppers a chance to start their celebrations before the snow even falls.
