Looking for something spooky, mystical, or just plain fun this weekend? Orillia and area are serving up witches, ghosts, crystals, horror, and pumpkins galore. There’s something for every Halloween mood.
Ghost Walks — Friday, Oct. 24 to Saturday, Oct. 25, 6 to 8 p.m. — Leacock Museum
The Leacock Museum’s legendary Ghost Walks are back and bigger than ever. Wander the historic grounds of Old Brewery Bay by lantern light, meet surprise guests, and venture into the haunted basement if you dare. With eerie stories, atmospheric pathways, and treats afterward, it’s the perfect blend of history and haunt.

Hewitts Fun Farm Pumpkin Fest — October Weekends, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. — Hewitts Fun Farm
Bring the family for classic fall fun at Hewitts. Every paid admission includes a free pumpkin, plus a massive 10-acre corn maze and a 5-acre playyard full of activities and adorable farm animals. It’s laughter, fresh air, and autumn memories all in one place.

PA Day Drop-In: Hotel Transylvania — Friday, Oct. 24, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Orillia Public Library
Spend your PA Day in monster style! Drop into the Family Department between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. for crafts, games, and spooky challenges for all ages. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., head to the Makerspace to create a glow-in-the-dark Haunted Mansion portrait with a creepy eye illusion that follows you around, Then at 2 p.m., settle in for a family movie matinee of Hotel Transylvania. Doors open in the Program Rooms, and all activities are free with no registration required.

Witches Night Out + Mystic Market — Friday, Oct. 24, 6 to 10 p.m. — Couchiching Craft Brewery
The coven returns! Witches Night Out is back for its second year, bringing vendors, oracle readings, brews, and witchy vibes to downtown Orillia. Shop mystical wares, sip seasonal drinks, and embrace your inner witch, costumes are encouraged. This is an all-ages event with no cover and no reservations. Hosted in the brewery’s second-floor event space.

Monster March — Saturday, Oct. 25, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Downtown Orillia
Costumes on, it’s time to parade! The Downtown Orillia BIA’s Monster March invites ghosts, ghouls, superheroes, and witches of all ages to march down Mississaga Street. Meet at Municipal Lot 5 (beside Plum Loco) and depart at 11 a.m. sharp. After the march, stick around for trick-or-treating at local businesses.

The Haunted Mill — Oct. 24 & 25, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. — Coldwater Mill
Coldwater’s historic 1833 mill comes alive with terror as The Scream Shack transforms it into The Haunted Mill. Step into a spine-tingling maze where history and horror collide through immersive sets, ghostly encounters, and unexpected scares. Evening tours run in timed slots for $10.
